英文基本詞序

主詞 + 動詞 + 受詞 + 地方 + 時間

He(主詞) plays(動詞) the guitar(受詞) in his room(地點) every night(時間).
他每晚都在他的房間彈吉他。

頻率副詞

肯定句：

主詞 +頻率副詞 + 動詞:

He often cooks pasta. 他通常會煮義大利麵。

主詞 + be動詞 +頻率副詞:

You are always late. 你每次都遲到。

疑問句：

助動詞 +主詞 +頻率副詞:

Are you always late? 你常遲到嗎?
Does he often cook? 他常煮飯嗎?

常見的錯誤:

I like this music nice! (X)
I like this music. It is nice (✓) 別忘了主詞。

I like very much pizza.(X)
I like pizza very much. (right), 不要分開動詞和受詞。

I will be at 3PM in my office.
I will be in my office at 3PM. 地點在時間前。

主詞 + 動詞

在英文中，我們通常需要在句子中包含主詞。主詞要放在動詞前面。

We play.
He is playing.

我們用 it 或 they 作為主詞來表達我們過去曾經提及的事情。

I like your hat. It is nice. (不能說 I like your hat. Is nice) 我喜歡你的帽子。很好看。
Can you see those bags? They are expensive. (不能說 Can you see those trees? Are beautiful) 你能看到那些袋子嗎？它們很昂貴。

在祈使句中不用加入主詞。

Sit down, please.
Call me soon.

可以在主詞和動詞之間加入頻率副詞。但是當動詞為 be 動詞則要加入動詞後面。

We often dance.
You are always late.

動詞 + 受詞

如果句子中有受詞，要放在動詞後面。動詞和受詞要放在一起。

I like pizza very much. (不能說 I like very much pizza. )
She plays the guitar every day. (不能說 She plays every day the guitar.)

地點 + 時間

通常要先說 “地點”再說 “時間”。

She arrives at the hospital in the morning. (不能說 She arrives in the morning at the hospital.)
Will you be in the office at 3 pm? ( 不能說 Will you be at 3 pm in the office. )
