  • increase the price

降價

  • decrease the price
  • reduce the price

The coffee shop is going to increase the price of their cappuccino next week.
The bookstore is reducing the price of all their books by 20%.

  • the price rose
  • the price went up
  • the price increased

降價

  • the price fell
  • the price went down
  • the price dropped

I wanted to buy a new smartphone, but the price rose by $100, so I couldn’t afford it.
The airline company announced that the price of their tickets dropped by 30% due to low demand.

口語中,什麼東西漲價或降價了,也可以說 went up/down in price。

The bag went up in price after I bought it.
The price of the bag went up after I bought it.
