be 动词的一般现在时

有三个形式: am, is, are

• I am.
• He/She/It is.
• We/You/They are.

he 代表男性，she 代表女性，it 代表事物。

He’s a student. 他是一位学生。  
She’s tall. 她很高。
I like this sofa. It’s very comfortable. 我喜欢这个沙发，它非常舒服。  

they 可以代表人或事物。

I like Mike and Tom. They are my classmates. 我喜欢Mike和Tom，他们是我的同学。
I like these bags. They are very colorful. 我喜欢这些袋子，他们非常缤纷。

Be 动词前不要忘记加上主语

It is beautiful.  (不能只是 is beautiful) .

缩写的形式

‘m, ‘re 和 ‘s 要与 I, you, he 等人称代名词一起使用。

• I’m fine.
• You’re good.
• She’s from Hongkong.

’s 也可以与名字一起使用。

• Laura’s beautiful.
• London’s an expensive city. 

简短答案中的缩写

缩写只能用于否定简短答案，不能用于肯定简短答案。

Yes, I am ( 不能 Yes, I’m, 可以用于否定no, I’m not)

Yes, she is (不能 she’s, 可以用于否定no, she’s not 或 she isn’t)

Yes, they are (不能 they’re 可以用否定no, they’re not 或 they aren’t)

be 动词一般现在时的一般用法

be 动词可以用来表示:

• 身份: I’m jasmine, and he is John. And she is my friend, Jane. 我是jasmine，他是John。而她是我的同学Jane。
• 年龄:  I’m 20 years old, and my brother is 22. 我20岁，我哥哥22岁。 
• 工作:  I’m a designer, and my dad is a teacher. 我是一位设计师，我爸爸是一位老师。
• 国籍:  I am from Taiwan, and he is from America. 我来自台湾，他来自美国。
• 感受:  I’m happy. She is very sad. 我很开心。她非常伤心。 
• 颜色:  Your shoes are white. Her bed is pink. 你的鞋子是白色的。她的床是粉色的。
• 价钱: It’s 10 pounds. The candy is 5 dollars. 这个要10磅。这个糖果要5元。
• 天气:  It’s a rainy day. It is very wet this morning. 今天是下雨天。早上非常潮湿。 
• 时间:  What time is it? It’s 8 a.m. 现在几点钟? 现在是早上八点。
• 一般描述:  She is very tall. The dogs are cute. 她非常高。狗很可爱。
