can, can’t 的形式

肯定句	I/You/He/She/etc. can sing.
否定句	I/You/He/She/etc. cannot sing. I/You/He/She/etc. can’t sing.
疑问句	Can I/You/He/She/etc. sing?
简单回答 – Yes,	I/You/He/She/etc. can.
简短回答 – No,	I/You/He/She/etc. cannot. I/You/He/She/etc. can’t.

can 后面跟的动词，不带 to 

我们用 can + 不定词（动词原型），动词前不带 to。

I can jump. (不能说 I can to jump.)
He can’t come. (不能说 He can’t to come.)

can 在 he/she/it 后面不加  -s

我们在 he/she/it 后面不加 -s。针对所有的人称，我们都只有 can 这一种形式。

She can jump. (不能说 She cans jump.)

使用 can 时，不再用助动词 do/don’t

can 是一个助动词，有否定和疑问形式。因此我们不会在句子中使用 do/don’t 。

Can you jump? (不能说 Do you can swim?)
She can’t jump. (不能说He don’t can jump.

can, can’t 的使用

表示能力

我们用 can/can’t 来谈论当下的能力(表示我们知道如何做的事情)。

Mike can shoot very well. 迈克射得很好。
She can’t speak English.  她不会说英语。

表示可能性

我们用 can/can’t 来请求许可，或者说某事是否可能。

Can I sit here? 我能坐在这里吗？
You can’t vote if you aren’t 18 years old.  如果你不是18岁，你就不能投票。
I’m sorry but I can’t come to the party.  对不起，我不能来参加聚会。

要求某事

我们可以在酒吧、餐馆、商店等使用 can/can’t 来询问和点餐。

Can I have some water, please? 能给我一些水吗？
Can I have a cake? 我能要一个蛋糕吗？
