未來式 – will 和 shall

will 的形式

Will 為助動詞。代表:

• will + 不定詞: He will be attending the wedding tomorrow. 他明天將參加婚禮。
• will 的否定形式: I won’t be at school next week. 下週我不會在學校。
• 將 will 放在疑問句的主詞之前: Will he be at the mall by 9 o’clock? 他會在 9 點之前到商場嗎？
• 在簡短回答使用will: Yes, I will. / No, I won’t (或 No, I will not).

will 的用法

Will 可以表達我們認為在將來會發生的事件。

They will call tomorrow. 他們明天會打電話。
She won’t attend the competition. 她不會參加比賽。

will 常搭配 I think，I don’t think，I hope 等或是 I’m sure, I’m not sure, perhaps 等。

I hope she will recover soon. 我希望她能盡快康復。
I don’t think she’ll understand. 我想她不會明白的。
I’m sure he’ll be successful. 我相信他會成功的。
Perhaps it’ll rain today. 也許今天會下雨。

Will 可以表達承諾或拒絕。

I will tell your friend about it. 我會告訴你的朋友這件事。
I won’t look after them. 我不會照顧他們。

will 表示我們在說話的當下做出決定(立即決定)。

A: There’s no milk in the fridge. B: I’ll go to the shop to buy some more. A：冰箱裡沒有牛奶。 B：我去商店再買一些。
A: What do you want for dinner? B: I think I’ll have pasta. A：你晚餐想吃什麼？ B：我想我會吃義大利麵。

Shall I…? Shall we…? 的用法

Shall I…? 或 I’ll 表示我要為其他人做事。

Shall I go to the supermarket? 我要去超市嗎？（=你要我去超市嗎？）
I’ll go to the supermarket. 我要去超市。

Shall we…? 表示我們提議做某件事。

Shall we take the bus? 我們坐公共汽車好嗎？ （=你想坐公共汽車嗎？）
