and 的用法

用 and 来加入相似的信息或想法，代表 ‘too’ 或 ‘in addition’。

My father is a doctor, and my mother is a nurse. 我的父亲是一名医生，我的母亲是一名护士。
She has a mall in the city and a new store in the countryside. 她在城里开了一家商场，在乡村里开了一家新店。

当在连接句子时，不需要重复主词(Mike, I, we, she, 等。)

She woke up and fixed the bed. (= She woke up and she fixed the bed.) 她醒了，整理好床。
She was talking to me and laughing. (=She was talking to me and she was laughing.) 她一边跟我说话，一边大笑。

but 的用法

 我们用 but 来加入对比的信息，即不同的信息。

I worked hard, but I couldn’t buy a phone. 我努力工作，但我买不到手机。
She is beautiful but not the best. 她很漂亮，但不是最漂亮的。

or 的用法

 用 or 来连接不同的可能性。

Would you like to go to the swimming pool or to the beach? 你想去游泳池还是去海滩？
He can go to a hotel or stay with us. 他可以去旅馆，也可以和我们住在一起。

在否定句中，用 or 而不是 and 来表示两者皆非。

我不喜欢苹果或香蕉。
I don’t like apples and bananas. (X)
I don’t like apples or bananas.  (√)

用 and， but 和 or 来连接相似的词或句子

用 and­，but 或 or 连接的项要为一样的文法形式。查看常见的错误:

我喜欢跑步和游泳。
I like running and swim.  (X)
I like running and swimming. (√)( 动词-ing 和 动词-ing)

你想去海滩还是在公园里吃霜淇淋？
Would you like to go to the beach or having an ice cream in the park? (X)
Would you like to go to the beach or to have an ice cream in the park? (√)(to + 不定式 和 to + 不定式)

so 的用法

用 so 来引出某件事的结果。句子的第二部分是第一部分的结果。

It was hot, so I turned on the aircon.  天气很热，所以我打开了空调。
I spent all my money on shopping, so I don’t have any money now. 我把所有的钱都花在了购物上，所以我现在没有钱了。

because 的用法

用 because 来引出某件事的原因。

I turned on the aircon because it was hot. 我打开了空调，因为很热。
I’m entering the house quietly because I don’t want to wake up my mom. 我悄悄地进屋，因为我不想吵醒我妈妈。
