英文中的反身代词

英文中的反身代词有: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves.

同样的主语和宾语

在一个句子里面，当主语和宾语是同一个人的时候，常会使用反身代词。

She is going to drive this car herself to go to work. 她打算自己开车去上班。
We really enjoyed ourselves at the party. 我们自己在聚会上玩得很开心。
Thinking only of oneself is not good. 只想着自己是不好的。

接在介词后

反身代词放在介词之后，是指这一句话里面接受到动作的宾语是主语自己。

She is really proud of herself. 她真的为自己感到骄傲。

用来强调谁做了这个动作

我们也会使用反身代词来强调句子中的主语执行了一个动作，而不是其他人做的。从这个用法来说，我们可以在句末或主语后使用反身代词。

I learned to play the guitar myself. 我自己学会了弹吉他。
You should face the problem yourself, instead of relying on someone. 你应该自己面对这个问题，而不是依赖别人。
Emma herself pick the best cake in the shop. 艾玛自己挑了店里最好的蛋糕。

英文里面不接反身代词的动词

学英文的学生常会因为自身母语里面的意义，而在英语加入使用反身代词，但在英文中有一些动词并没有反身代词，这是学生常犯的错误。其中一些动词如 concentration、dress、shave、wash、relax、hurry 或 open。

When we wake up, we wash, shave, and dress. 当我们醒来时，我们洗衣服，刮胡子，穿衣服。
When my father got home from work, he only want to relax in his bed. 当我父亲下班回家时，他只想在他的床上放松一下。
You need to hurry, or else you’ll be unable to go home. 你需要快点，否则你就不能回家了。
The gate opened, and the students ran to get in. 大门开了，学生们跑进去。

强调自己

我们可以用 by myself, by yourself 等来表示“独自一人，没有任何人”，或者也可以表示“没有受到任何人的帮助”。

The new worker doesn’t like to dance by himself and wants someone to dance with him. 这位新工人不喜欢独自跳舞，希望有人和他一起跳舞。
Tina learned to swim by herself. Tina自己学会了游泳。

我们也可以说 on my own, on your own，等等。

I was on my own, all afternoon. 整个下午我都是一个人。
He did it on his own. 他自己做的。

相互代词

我们用 each other 或 one another 来陈述 A 对 B 做某事，以及B 对 A 做某事时。

When the twins found each other, they had been living apart for more than 10 years. 当这对双胞胎找到彼此时，他们已经分开生活了10多年。
You should try to understand one another. 你们应该试着互相理解。
