過去簡單式的否定和疑問形式

did 或 didn’t 表達過去簡單式中的否定、疑問，和簡短答案。

• 肯定句：I went.
• 否定句：I didn’t go
• 疑問句：Did you go?
• 簡短答案：Yes, I did / No, I didn’t.

疑問句中的順序

疑問句的順序為: 疑問詞 + 助動詞 (did) + 主詞 + 不定詞。

Where(疑問詞) + did(助動詞) + you(主詞) + eat cake (不定詞). 你們在哪吃的蛋糕。
When(疑問詞) + did(助動詞) + he(主詞) + leave(不定詞). 他什麼時候離開的。

沒有 to 的不定詞

did 或didn’t 加上主要動詞的不定詞形式 (不需要加 to)。

I didn’t take a bath today. (不能說 I didn’t took a bath.)  我今天沒有洗澡。
Did you see the shooting star last night? (不能說 Did you saw….) 昨晚你看到流星了嗎？

在肯定的句子中不需要用 did

did 或 didn’t 可以用來表達過去簡單式中的否定、疑問，和簡短答案，但不能用於肯定的句子中。

She worked out in the gym last week. (不能說 She did work out ……)  上週她在健身房健身。
I made a mistake in class yesterday. (不能說 I did make a mistake……) 我昨天在課堂上犯了一個錯誤。

Did 或 was/were?

did 和 didn’t (非was/wasn’t 或 were/weren’t)作為過去簡單式的否定和疑問句形式的助動詞。

She didn’t answer the phone last night. (不能說 She wasn’t answer the phone last night) 昨晚她沒有接電話。
Did you visit your parents today? (不能說 Were you visit your parents today.) 今天你去看你父母了嗎？

若主要動詞為 be，則不能在過去簡單式的否定或疑問句形式使用 did 或 didn’t 。

They weren’t with him at the party. (不能說 They didn’t be with him at the party. ) 他們沒有和他一起參加聚會。
Was it you in the class? (不能說 Did you be in the class.) 是你在課堂上嗎？
