都是“看”，look/see/watch 有何区别

学了多年英文，see, look, watch 这三个单词在中文中都翻成「看」，它们之间的区别您是不是还是分不清？

see

see 指的是视觉感知, 即我们的眼睛所看到的。

Tom can’t see without his contact lenses. 汤姆没有戴隐形眼镜就看不见。

如果你张开眼睛，你就能看见。这意味着我们的视觉感知是自动的，即使我们不在意或不想看，也会自动看到。看的行为是被动的。

When she looks out the window, she sees her neighbors gardening. 她从窗户往外看，看到邻居正在做园艺。

使用 can + see 来表示我们在当下看到某事物。我们不使用动词的进行式（现在进行式）来谈论感官。

Tom can see some new wrinkles around his eyes. 汤姆看到眼睛周围有些新的皱纹(不能说 Tom is seeing some new wrinkles.)

在带有 whether 和 if 的句子中使用 see，此时的 see 表示检查或查明的意思。

Lily is trying to see whether her expensive eye cream works. 莉莉试图看看她昂贵的眼霜是否有效。

Look 表示将视线集中在某个特定方向，专注或注意力集中在我们能看到的事物上。与 see 不同，look 是主动的，我们可以选择看某些东西。

Tom looks in the mirror every morning. 汤姆每天早上都照镜子。

look 是一种有意的行为。当我们指明注意对象时，使用介词 at（look + at + 宾语）。

She looks at herself in the mirror. 她在镜子里看着自己。
Lily enjoys looking at the flowers in her garden. 莉莉喜欢看她花园里的花。

使用“look + 形容词”来谈论某人的外表。

Lily wants to look good. 莉莉想要看起来漂亮。

以 look 为开头的片语动词有很多，例如：

look after 意为“照顾”。

She looks after her grandchildren on Mondays. 她星期一照顾她的孙子孙女们。

look for意为“寻找”。

Her neighbors are looking for their cat in the garden. 她的邻居正在花园里找他们的猫。

watch 有“观看、专注地看”的意思。 watch 这个动作也是（主动）将目光集中于一处，且看的持续时间较长。但所看的必须是“动态的事物”或是“事情的发展跟变化”，比如说看一部电影、一个电视节目、一场球赛。

This weekend, she’s taking her grandson to watch a football match. 这个周末，她带孙子去看足球比赛。

我们只能用固定表达 watch TV，但可以用 see/watch TV programmes and films. 看电视节目和电影。

Lily watches TV with her friends, but tonight they are going to the cinema to see/watch a film. 莉莉和她的朋友们常看电视，但今晚他们要去电影院看电影。
